Planning a dart league season
How many rounds does a round-robin league need?
With an even number of teams, a single round robin needs one fewer round than the number of teams. With an odd number, it needs the same number of rounds as teams because one team receives a bye each round.
What does “games per board” mean?
It should describe how many scheduled team games can be completed on one physical board during that league night—not how many teams exist in the entire league.
Can teams move between boards during one night?
Yes. A fixture-centric schedule can assign a team to one opponent and board for the first block, then another opponent or board for the next block. DartRoster uses the matchday schedule when producing team sheets.
